Planned Features
Real-time Transcription Latency
- Faster Response: Significantly faster, benefiting live voice agents and analytics
- Quicker Detection: Eliminates startup delay by detecting speech from initial milliseconds.
- Natural Flow: Version 8 will introduce FlowSense - our intelligent turn-taking solution which identifies when a human stops speaking, signaling the agent that it is safe to respond.
- Improved Scalability: we are introducing a GPU mode and have internally split services between ASR, Realtime Transcription and Batch Transcription to improve scalability and resource utilization.
Real-time Transcription Accuracy
- Higher Quality: Cleaner, more readable transcripts with noticeably lower WER.
- Reduced Latency: Optimized transcription pipeline results for faster, single-pass processing.
Security Updates: As with all releases, the latest vulnerability patches are included across all services. Unless particularly noteworthy, these are not listed in release notes since there are typically many such updates in each release.
